Raisin' a Mug to Marriott

Join us in raising a mug,  a root beer float mug, to our friends at Marriott International. Marriott International has raised more than $115 million for local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals throughout the United States, but I bet you didn’t know that Marriott founder, Bill and his wife, Alice, opened two root beer float stands in Washington, DC in the 1920s.

And, they shared their secret recipe with us! Their root beer float starts with one scoop of vanilla bean ice cream, add a cup of your favorite root beer, top with whip cream, garnish with a little – ok, maybe a lot – of chocolate, and a cherry on the top. It’s that simple to enjoy a great root beer float, and shout cheers to our friends at Marriott!
