Marriott International hits a home run helping kids with cancer

For the seventh year in a row, the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa hosted kids from Children’s Hospital Colorado in support of their inspirational battle from cancer.

The families got complimentary accommodations at this world class resort, with a special surprise of being able to attend spring training games for their hometown Colorado Rockies.

In addition to hosting the families, associates from 25 local Marriott International properties volunteer for shifts at the spring training concession stands. They donated their “pay” to Phoenix Children’s Hospital, which is projected to raise an impressive $20,000.

Marriott International has been a corporate supported of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1983 and has raised an astounding $115 million during that time for local children’s hospitals.
