He Just Needs to Be Loved

Of all the pieces of advice doctors could’ve given Nicole Duval, one stands out above the others: “He just needs to be loved.”

Nicole, a Marriott associate, used the services of Phoenix Children’s Hospital before she even had her own child. She and her husband decided to adopt their son Sam, knowing that he had a congenital heart defect. So Nicole contacted the hospital to learn all she could before Sam arrived. And almost as soon as Sam arrived he went into surgery at Phoenix Children’s. Watch the video below to learn more about Sam’s story.
