A Sweet Holiday Treat for Employees

We say it often, but we’re really blessed to call the greater Bangor community home. It’s truly incredible to see the community rally together in support of our young patients, especially during the holidays.

Today, our friends from the Courtyard by Marriott and the Marriott TownePlace Suites, both on the Sylvan Road in Bangor, stopped by Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center to spread some holiday cheer. Their first stop was to set up a table outside of the cafeteria that they filled with milk and cookies. These special treats were free to employees – an opportunity for our friends from Marriott to say thank you to our incredible employees who go above and beyond to care for patients and their families around the clock, 365 days a year. And, the smiles on our employees’ faces said it all! They were so surprised and so thankful for the yummy treats.

Their next stop was to visit our Inpatient Pediatrics Department and our Neonatal Intensive Care Units where the dropped off blankets for our young patients, along with a baskets full of cookies and some milk – treats for our employees.
